Christmas is in the air! Christmas lights, Christmas trees, decorations, happy faces and presents – it’s only 7 days until Christmas and 14 days until New Year !!!
Well, after nearly 2,5 months of living in a real world I, once again, returned to my virtual world, so, I’m back to blogging!
I was a bit busy and lazy to blog
I vacationed for 2 months in Florida with my family and I was the main family tour operator
in organizing all the trips around Florida. We had a really good time together and later I’ll post some stories and photos from our vacation. As usual, it was really sad to leave Florida.
On the 7th of December we flew from Orlando back to England and in few days on the 11th of December we flew back to Russia for our winter vacation. 4 International airports in 5 days, how did they look this Christmas 2012? Christmas time is the busiest time of the year for International airports, luckily this year we flew early in December and avoided any troubles. The airports were a bit busier but we had no problems at all, no big queues, no delays etc. And to help the travellers to get into the holiday spirit airports prepared Christmas trees!
The best Christmas trees in my opinion were in Orlando International Airport, I saw two and they were huge with lot’s of lights! Below on the picture is one of them and the other similar to this one is in the area with the Gates.
Well, in London Gatwick International airport (South Terminal) Christmas tree was more traditional.
In London Heathrow International airport (Terminal 5) Christmas trees were very modern. I don’t know how many Christmas trees in Terminal 5 (it’s huge) but I saw two.
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year and thanks to all the airports for the Christmas trees! ![]()

Orlando’s tree does look quite nice! I never though of xmas trees in airports…interesting post
